Am I effing dreaming?!
In exactly 1 month I’m starting law school. In 1 month my life will change forever. All the planning, worrying, and crying all comes full circle.
It’s crazy to me that this is happening so fast. It was just yesterday that I applied to law school; that I got an acceptance letter only to find out I really didn’t get in (they later accepted me, but I denied). It was just yesterday that I officially became a Buckeye! Is this real life? Why is everything moving so fast?
The one piece of advice all 1L’s and 2L’s have given me is to “enjoy [my] summer, because it’ll go by way too fast.” They weren’t lying. The summer came and gone. The past few weeks I wasn’t really enjoying my time in the city. I was in a rut, but I’ve moved past it and I’m trying to focus on the positive. I’m making the most of the rest of my time here, and I’ll be sharing that with yall in upcoming posts. (Making up for the lack of content)
I go back home to Orlando in 8 days. I’m so damn excited to see my family and friends 😙. Spending my last week with them will be the perfect ending to this summer. I wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
Cheers to this summer– it’s been…. interesting.

Congratulations! I’m going to Texas A&M law. It’s relatively new, but I graduated from A&M undergrad and there’s just nothing like being an Aggie. I considered the University of Texas my top choice for a while (right up to paying seat deposits, yikes!) until I visited both schools and saw how different the personalities of the schools and the locations were. ^_^ Let’s just say A&M became the only choice.
