Lancôme Teint Idole Foundation

Two posts in one week?! Yes! I’ve only posted once this month and that’s sad because I’ve had these posts saved for weeks! This is my first review and I am pretty excited about it. As you can tell by the title, I’ll be talking about Lancome Teint Idole 24 hour foundation. This was my second high end foundation purchase. I purchased the Kat Von D Lock-it Tattoo foundation but the color wasn’t quiet right. So I used Sephora’s Color IQ matching system and I was matched to Lancôme.

But of course It wasn’t the perfect match. I was matched to 460 C….it was horrible. I put it on for Barrister’s Ball aka Law School prom and my face was three shades lighter than my neck! I would post a picture but its too embarrassing lol. I exchanged it for 470 Suede C, one of the newest shades and its a perfect match!

I’ve been using it for quite some time now. I don’t us it too often since its so expensive, I want it to last as long as possible. All in all I have nothing bad to say!

How I wear it:

I always start off with clean, moisturized skin, then I add primer. Usually two pumps of foundation will do. I warm up the foundation on the back of my hand first, then I put small dot all over my face. I apply it with my beauty blender or flat top kabuki brush, whichever is clean at the moment. I continue on my with the rest of my usual makeup routine. I don’t have to work around the color too much because its the perfect match.
