It has been a year and a half since I graduated law school, and a year since I started my first full-time legal job. Prior to May 2018, I was in school for most of my life. I went to college months after high school graduation, and to law school months after my college graduation. Being a student, is all I have known. So last year, was a huge transition for me.

Tisha, where have you been?
I’ve been MIA and I am mad at myself for that. This year I set a blogging goal and I was so close to meeting it sooner than expected. My blog was getting more attention than I ever thought it would without any outside promotion of my own! I had so many blog ideas; I started them, saved them, and never posted them. Why? Well, between law school, working this summer and plain ‘ole laziness, I didn’t have time or energy to blog. So to those of you that are still loyal (LOL), here’s a life/month by month update.
My first semester of law school

1 Week Out
School starts in five days. In five days I’ll be walking into class as a 1L. (Did I really just say that?)

I worked hard for this s***
I had every intention of telling you all about my life goals, struggles etc. This post was supposed to be heart felt and emotional. But, life happened. Okay, I’ll just be honest, I forgot. There I said it.
College Days Swiftly Pass
This post is a few weeks late, but I’m so happy to say that I’M A COLLEGE GRADUATE! After four years of long days and nights, pointless classes (I’m just being honest), and countless “I’m just going to drop out and become a…”, the moment finally came. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations!
29 days
In 29 days my life will change forever. I will accomplish a lifelong goal. A goal that took me four years to achieve. In 29 days I will be graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations (its a mouthful, I know).
