I’m here, I’m here!
Tisha is finally in the city! To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I’m pretty sure this summer will be one for the books!
I flew into JFK Airport around 12 noon on Tuesday. The flight was OK and free WiFi and TV from JetBlue made it even better. My Dad picked me up not too long after I arrived. Before we made our way to the city, we stopped by one of his favorite Caribbean restaurants in Brooklyn. I love Brooklyn, well almost everything about it lol.
At around 2:30 pm I checked into my new home (the view is ahhmazing) and met with my coworkers. Everyone is so sweet (Thank God)!
The night didn’t go as planned, but everything still worked out. We ordered pizza from a local restaurant, went to Bath and Body Works and Duane Reade, then I passed out at around 10 pm lol.
Work officially starts today so I planned to get a good nights sleep, but at 5:30 this morning the sun was rising. Why so early? I have no idea. Lets hope I don’t need a power nap in about two hours.
I honestly still can’t believe I’m living in my favorite city for the summer. Someone pinch me, JK not really.
