Since I started wearing makeup in high school, I’ve been using the same skin care products- Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, and Saint Ives. Last year I decided to try out new drug store and high end products . The new products I tried work well with my current regimen, so thats a plus. Some of them are pricey, which is why I don’t buy the full size lol, but the smaller sizes are worth the money.
I don’t wash my face twice a day because during the week I don’t put on a full face of makeup. I typically just wash at night. But when I wear makeup I cleanse before and after. I do a deep clean and moisturize every night, but in the morning I just splash some water on my skin, put on a bit more moisturizer, then I’m out the door. Below are the products I use in the order I use them.

Thanks for stopping by, again. To all my new followers, WELCOME!
I got a sample size of this in my Sephora Birthday gift bag and to be honest I didn’t use it for a few weeks. When I first tried it I loved it because it smells like cucumbers! It turned out to be one of the ingredients lol. The name of the brand says it all- it smells fresh! The products are all natural and they don’t leave the skin feeling dry. I have combination skin, but during the winter my skin is extra-dry. After using this I don’t think I will go back to my Neutrogena Cream Cleanser.
The only downside of this product is the price. The smaller size, which is what I have is $15 for 1.5 oz. I will say, it’s holding up pretty well. The larger size is $38 for 5.1 oz. I’m not ready to commit to that.
I’ve been using this toner for almost two years now. It’s non alcoholic, so it doesn’t dry out the skin. It doesn’t have the weird smell that most toners have. The best part is the price. It ranges from $7-$10 depending on where you buy it. I know all toners aren’t the same, but I can’t see myself spending more than $15 on one. This one does the trick.
I LOVE THIS!! No, really, I do. I started using this after a horrible threading situation. I broke out after getting my mustache threaded lol. I never realized how sensitive that area is. So long story short, I broke out. I wanted to get rid of the scaring so I went to YouTube, no surprise there. lol I used this for about 2 weeks before I noticed the discoloration fading. I haven’t seen this in most stores, so I suggest ordering online from Target. $8.99
This is probably my all time favorite moisturizer. This was my first high end moisturizer purchase. I got a sample from Sephora before I fully committed. It feels great, not oily or heavy. I don’t have anything bad to say. I love this. There are three sizes, .5 oz. $14, 1.7 oz $40 and 3 oz. $65. I think it’s worth the money, but you should try a sample before you commit.
Coconut oil was once my go-t0 oil. I decided to try something different last year because the cold weather left my skin dry-er then usual. Per usual, I tried a sample size, then I committed to the full size. I only use this at night since its thick. I’ve had it for over a month and as you can see by the picture I still have quite a lot left. It comes in 3 sizes- .5 oz for $16. 1.7 oz and 4oz.
I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS. I was never into face masks because my skin always felt dry after using them. I’m not sure if I left it on too long or the formulas were naturally drying. I included this in my 2015 beauty favorites, so I won’t say too much about it here. I use this once week after I wash my face. I keep it on for about 10 minutes, then I moisturize with my Argan Oil. There are two size .5 oz for 22, and 1.7 oz for $69. The smaller size was $19, but I still think it’s worth the money.
