Hey all! This post is going to be a little different because its kind of sponsored. I never thought I’d actually be saying that. lol For those that don’t know, there is a company called Influenster that sends complementary products for testing purposes, with a decently sized social media following. That includes instagram, facebook, twitter, blog, youtube, etc. First your sign up, link your social media accounts, and based on your interests and your social media presence, Influenster will send you emails asking a few questions to determine if you’re a good fit for a certain campaign. So far I’ve received two influenster boxes- a ralph lauren fragrance box and the most recent one, an Ole Henriksen box.
Now, about the box! Here it is!
I was so excited to receive this box because I love Ole Henriksen products. If you’re familiar with my blog, then you’ve seen a few posts mentioning the sheer transformation moisturizer. I use this product everyday, and I must say it is worth every penny. It is the perfect light-weight moisturizer! The two other products, truth serum collagen booster (which I’ve been dying to try, tbh) and the power bright, are new to me! Which makes this the most exciting part about testing out these products. Serums are basically heavy moisturizers. Most people use them once a day, typically at night in addition, or as a substitute, to a regular moisturizer. According to the product description, it is meant to help with fine lines and wrinkles, increase skin elasticity and brighten uneven skin textures. I haven’t used it yet, but I will definitely report back!
Now onto the power bright.
It comes with three mask- a sugar mask ( step 1) , a vitamin C concentrate ( step 2) and a melting cleanser (step 3). This mask packaging seems cool, but honestly, unless I am wowed by this product, I probably wont buy it. It is supposed to nourish, moisturize and brighten your skin, but thats only after weeks of using it. The box is $55 at Sephora, and comes with 6 packages.
