Its my NaturalVersary! Well, it was a year and four months ago.
Sometime in December 2013 I decided to cut my hair and return natural. I transitioned for a year and a half, so I wouldn’t classify my cut as the “big chop”, it was more like an extended trim.
My mother has been natural for about six years now and I’ve always been in love with her hair and all naturalistas I would see, but I always said “it wasn’t for me.” I was wrong. It is for me.
I’m so happy with my decision. I love my hair and I’m very protective about it. I tried to document my journey this past year and I’m so excited to share a few pictures with you all!
How many of you are natural? I’d love to chat with you about our hair!
